It is benign in nature with a favorable long-term prognosis. GPF mimics many disease entities, including the malignant ones, and the proper diagnosis differentiation requires a battery of investigations, including imaging, histopathology, immunochemistry, and molecular genetics studies. Management is generally surgical.
